Partnership: Breakthrough
Year 2025-2026
CSI Fund's "404 Not F_und?" programme is dedicated to promoting a spirit of trial and error among young people. In 2025-26, the Fund once again partnered with Breakthrough under the theme "EMO POWER SPOT", encouraging young people to embrace their emotions, step beyond habitual perspectives, and learn to re-read different life situations through a fresh lens.
The programme reached five tertiary institutions across Hong Kong, offering experiences ranging from campus activations to "Venturing Out" journeys that encouraged young people to gradually step beyond their comfort zones. Students formed “EMO Rover” teams and ventured into local communities, learning to shift perspectives through encounters beyond their everyday routines. The programme also organised a Taipei study tour, allowing EMO Rovers to immerse themselves in unfamiliar everyday settings and, through these experiences, re-read different life situations from new perspectives.
Guided by the E.R.R.O.R. framework (Evaluate, Rest, Relocate, Open Mind, Reconnect), participants discovered their own inner POWER SPOT through the practice of venturing out, accumulating the inner strength needed to navigate uncertainty and continue moving forward.
“After chatting with students from National Taiwan University, I now see university life in a completely different light. Darren's answer to me was simple — he loves being in Taiwan because this place lets him do what he loves.”

“Inwardly, I trained my ability to observe what's around me — learning how to understand a community's culture and way of life, how to discover ‘beauty’, rather than just following an online travel guide. Outwardly, I learned how to convey that beauty. Many of the things I noticed went unnoticed by others, so finding the words to describe them — and even guiding others to see the ‘beauty’ through my eyes — became a significant lesson.”
